Your Tax Dollars at work.  How did BatWoman get paid?  Why are Universities being investigated?

This story is getting darker daily.  The corruption of the deep state is bubbling up like scum to the surface of a sewage plant.  Harvard University Professor busted for taking kick backs, Private grants to fund Chinese Virus labs to study bats- when ordinary Americans do not eat Pangolins or bats- so why the research?

But- who worked with the Chinese inside US Universities?

Since when did US Citizens start eating bats, playing with bats or even care about bats? Why should the USA be funding Chinese research playing with bats?

Joshua Phillip explains the tie in with Wuhan Labs. As reported on April 24th by Politico and among many others. is mentioned.

“…it is clear that the NIH was motivated by conspiracy theories that allege—without evidence—that the virus was somehow released by Chinese researchers in Wuhan, the central Chinese city where the pandemic began.”

“However, amid the pandemic, conspiracy theories have festered online that Chinese researchers were responsible for the release of the novel coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, which causes COVID-19. First, there was speculation that it was a man-made virus, potentially one intended for biowarfare. When genetic analysis clearly contradicted that notion, speculation shifted to suggesting that it was a natural virus that accidentally escaped a laboratory in Wuhan, potentially the WIV where Shi works. The idea has been bolstered by a column in The Washington Post that US Department of State officials had vague safety concerns about the lab back in 2018.

Though researchers can’t completely rule out the possibility that SARS-CoV-2 escaped from a lab, coronavirus experts have consistently said it is far more likely that SARS-CoV-2 leapt from wild bats or other wild animals to humans in a natural spillover event, similar to how SARS-CoV-2’s coronavirus relatives caused disease. That is, the coronaviruses behind SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) and MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome) both hopped naturally from wild bats to other animals before making their way to humans to cause disease.

Moreover, there’s no evidence that SARS-CoV-2 was among Shi’s collection, and there’s no indication that any researchers or the NIH was concerned about safety issues at the lab, according to Science.”-

In a subsequent email on April 24, Lauer wrote that the NIH has “elected to terminate the project ‘Understanding the Risk of Bat Coronavirus Emergence’… for convenience.”

“This grant was funded as a discretionary grant as outlined in the NIH Grants Policy Statement which states that the decision not to award a grant, or to award a grant at a particular funding level, is at the discretion of the agency, in accordance with NIH’s dual review system,” the email went on. “At this time, NIH does not believe that the current project outcomes align with the program goals and agency priorities.”

In a statement to Politico, EcoHealth noted: “We work in the United States and in over 25 countries with institutions that have been pre-approved by federal funding agencies to do scientific research critical to preventing pandemics. We are planning to talk with NIH to understand the rationale behind their decision.”

Politico, April 2020

So the narrative of covering up for the Chinese CCP continues with Western Media, and they continue to call people “Conspiracy Theories”- when the NIH, EcoHealth Alliance, Shi Zheng-Li, Dr. Fauci and more know exactly what happened but they do not dare share this with the public.  But of course- the Deep State is at work doesn’t want their pet projects playing with bats to be interrupted.  And the Liberal media seems to want this dangerous research to continue unabated.

Worse yet, Why is the US Pentagon funding Chinese research?

“Reschenthaler said in a statement provided exclusively to Breitbart News. “To learn a $6.5 million Department of Defense grant was awarded to the same organization that sent US taxpayer dollars to the WIV, EcoHealth Alliance, is deeply concerning. I sent this letter to the DOD because we must get to the bottom of whether DOD grant funding was also sent to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the potential epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak.”

“I write to bring your attention to a 2017 grant awarded by the Department of Defense (DOD) to EcoHealth Alliance Inc., an organization that has a history of collaborating with the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which reports suggest may be linked to the epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak,” Reschenthaler wrote to Secretary Esper in the letter on Thursday, obtained exclusively by Breitbart News ahead of its public release.

“In 2017, DOD awarded a $6.5 million grant to EcoHealth Alliance under Assistance Listing 12.351 – Scientific Research – Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction,” the congressman continued. “The description of this grant is listed as ‘understanding the risk of bat-borne zoonotic disease emergence in Western Asia.’ On March 23, 2020, EcoHealth Alliance received their final payment in the amount of $1,509,531 for the continuation of their research, which is projected to be completed in October 2022.”

“It is not clear from the federal disclosures on this particular grant if taxpayer money from it went to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the Chinese lab from which intelligence officials believe the coronavirus may have leaked. But another grant EcoHealth Alliance obtained—from the National Institutes of Health (NIH)—did see taxpayer money disbursed to, among other places, the Wuhan lab….

That grant, which Breitbart News revealed exclusively this week, is under investigation by NIH and has seen any funding sent to the Wuhan lab halted, came from the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). NIAID is run by Dr. Anthony Fauci, who has gained fame for his increased public profile during the coronavirus pandemic.

…It is worth noting that nobody in the intelligence community is accusing this virus of being an intentionally released biological weapon, nor are members of Congress, including Reschenthaler. His inquiry specifically asks the Pentagon about this grant that was clearly sent to a firm that has a history of sending U.S. taxpayer dollars to the Wuhan laboratory to study such coronaviruses from which intelligence community officials and U.S. public health officials believe the virus may have leaked in some way. What’s more, this particular grant from the Pentagon—notably to study “bat-borne zoonotic disease emergence in Western Asia,” with public documents detailing the research related to “Weapons of Mass Destruction”—sounds eerily similar to the NIH grant that has been partially cut off and is under investigation.

University of Texas being investigated.

“The IC will continue to rigorously examine emerging information and intelligence to determine whether the outbreak began through contact with infected animals or if it was the result of an accident at a laboratory in Wuhan,” the statement said.

The Education Department’s letter (pdf), dated April 24, 2020, asks UT to share documents related to potential ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), along with dozens of Chinese universities and firms, including ones with links to the regime.

Between June 6, 2014, and June 3, 2019, UT reported approximately twenty-four contracts with various Chinese state-owned universities and ten contracts with Huawei Technologies, all purportedly worth a reported total of $12,987,896,” the letter reads.

“It is not clear, however, whether UT has in fact reported all gifts from or contracts with or relating to the Wuhan MCL, the Wuhan Institute of Virology, and/or all other foreign sources, including agents and instrumentalities of the government of the Peoples’ Republic of China,” it adds.

Newsweek China Spy Scandal That Entangled Harvard Could Hit Yale and MIT Next.

“—This sweeping investigation into academia concerns not Hollywood celebrities who paid tens of thousands of dollars to secure college admission for their kids, but hundreds of millions of dollars that have poured into the country’s most prestigious universities as gifts and contracts—unreported—largely from governments hostile to the U.S. The alleged theft of American taxpayer-funded military and scientific research would be a violation of the federal Higher Education Act. A recent Congressional report called the practice a threat to homeland security.”—

Federal law enforcement sources tell Newsweek that last month’s arrest of Charles Lieber, the Chair of Harvard University’s Chemistry and Chemical Biology Department, is just “the first domino to fall.”

Federal investigations are targeting “multiple scientists and researchers” at leading universities who have allegedly been enriching their bank accounts by endangering intellectual property paid for by grant monies from the U.S. Department of Defense and National Institutes of Health, several sources told Newsweek.

Lieber was one of those scientists whom federal prosecutors have identified as allegedly putting U.S. secrets at risk by double dealing: collecting $15 million in DOD and NIH grants for his work as a Harvard professor while simultaneously working as a Thousand Talents Program researcher for Beijing. Lieber was grilled about his work for the Chinese earlier this year by both federal investigators and Harvard officials and provided what the FBI called a “series of materially false, fictitious and fraudulent” statements.

Prosecutors say Lieber created a bank account in China to hide the $50,000 monthly stipend he was getting from the Chinese—a violation of his contract with the DOD and with Harvard—and the $158,000 he received for living expenses connected to his travel to the shadow lab he created at the Wuhan University of Technology.
