Anders Breivik is not a Christian. Those in the press trying to label him as such are being maliciously dishonest.
Now, I’m not a huge fan of Bill O’Reilly. He’s too often in lock step with the Washington elite establishment. His coverage of the tea party during debt debate has been pathetic.
However, he’s right on here (h/t gateway pundit):
The media has taken has taken Breivik’s facebook profile at face value and run with the story that he’s a Christian. In fact Breivik has no connection to any church, and there is no Christian church that would have him. Anybody can put “Christian” on their facebook profile, but anyone who’s ever read the Bible would know that “each tree is known by its fruit.“
The press has also repeatedly described Breivik as “right wing,” but he was anything but. He was a member of a NAZI group which is about as statist as you could get. Liberal bloggers have tried to link him to tea party groups, but you simply cannot find a connection between Breivik’s statist extremism and the tea party’s small-government conservatism.
Anders Breivik is not a Christian. Anders Breivik is also not right wing. He’s a maniac, pure and simple.
